Welcome to Sauble Beach

Probably the most famous destination in South Bruce Peninsula, your trip is sure to include a visit to Sauble Beach. From snapping a family photo under the iconic Sauble arch to spending the day at the beach and watching the sunset, paddling the Sauble River or watching a race at Sauble Speedway, your trip to Sauble Beach is sure to be packed with memories and wonder. We’ve got a few must-do Sauble ideas to help you plan your beach vacation.

Hit the Beach

A beach day is a must! Pack your towels, sunscreen, water, hat, a book and beach toys and head to Sauble’s 7-mile sandy beach. Walk downtown for fries and ice cream and then head back for a dip in Lake Huron. Stop back to the cottage, have a quick bbq and be sure to be back at the beach for our famous sunsets. The perfect summer day awaits.

Add some adventure

In addition to a day at the beach, Sauble Beach is home to some fun attractions! Test your bravery at Ascent Aerial Park, play a round of mini golf at Putterama or a true 18 holes at Sauble Golf and Country Club or hit the driving range at Pinewoods. Catch an evening of stock car racing at Sauble Speedway just a short drive out of town or keep the kids entertained at Giggles Arcade

Sauble Falls and Sauble River

Beyond the beach, visitors will want to check out Sauble Falls Provincial Park and the Sauble River. Even if you’re not camping at Sauble Falls Provincial Park, it’s worth a visit. Enjoy the sounds of the waterfall, or take a dip in the pools of the Sauble River. In the spring and fall, watch the fish jump as they make their way upstream. Plan a day of paddling on the Sauble River. Leave from the Sauble River Marina or the KitWat Motel and Marina downstream or get a rental canoe or kayak from OuterVision Adventure Tours at the Sauble Provincial Park location. Be sure to ask the locals for advice about current river conditions and time required for your outing.

Experience Winter in Sauble

Winter in Sauble Beach is a magical time too. Be sure to take a walk on the snow covered sand and stay for the sunsets. The waves freeze in impressive formations along the shoreline, but do not venture out on these ice shelves as it’s unsafe to do so.

Add some cross country skiing and snowshoeing to your agenda at the Sauble Beach Cross-Country Ski and Snowshoe Trails. Or plan an afternoon of snowmobiling on the OFSC District 9 trails that run through the area.
