Load up your skis and embark on an unforgettable journey through the Town of South Bruce Peninsula’s pristine cross-country ski trails. Whether you’re a seasoned skier or a beginner looking to embrace the beauty of winter, our trails have something for everyone.

Sauble Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Trails: Immerse yourself in the enchanting beauty of Sauble Beach as you glide along the Sauble Cross Country Ski and Snowshoe Trails. These trails wind through serene forests and reveal stunning views of the Rankin River. With approximately 19 kilometres of groomed ski trails and 14 kilometres of snowshoe trails, choose from loops of various lengths and difficulties. Buy your membership online here or pick up a day pass at Suntrail Source for Adventure or Fretz’s Valu Mart, or pay by e-transfer or cash at the trailhead lockbox. 

Sawmill Nordic Centre: Step into a tranquil oasis at the Sawmill Nordic Centre, where the hushed whispers of snow-covered trees create a serene ambiance. Follow the trail as it meanders past an old sawmill, a testament to the area’s rich history. Marvel at the towering pines that line your path and keep an eye out for local wildlife that often makes appearances along the way. Managed by the Bruce Ski Club, the trails at Sawmill include 11 kilometres of cross-country ski trails groomed for both classic and skate skiing and 5 kilometres of snowshoe trails. Colpoys Bay Ski Trails: As you glide along the Colpoys Ski Trail, you’ll be treated to sweeping views of Colpoys Bay and the majestic Niagara Escarpment. These trails combine challenging terrain with stunning natural beauty, making each stride a truly unforgettable experience. Keep your camera handy to capture the awe-inspiring moments that await you. Also managed by the Bruce Ski Club, the Colpoys Ski Trail includes 11.5 kilometres of classic cross-country ski trails. Users can purchase a membership online here or pick up a day pass at Suntrail Source for Adventure of by e-transfer to etransfer@bruceskiclub.ca
